At the Žerjav Inn we not only offer local homemade specialities but we also provide accommodation in six comfortably furnished rooms.

We welcome everyone who is a lover of a nice homely feel and fine wine to our richly spread tables that never lack in local or international culinary delights. We have been accommodating guests since 1912 when the inn was opened at the exact same location by the original owners – grandma Neža and grandpa Lojze.

We are very proud of our long family culinary tradition. Even today we use some of the receipts and honour the culinary secrets that have been evolving through the years. Therefore, our specials also include authentic Slovene dishes from local ingredients.

We are very lucky to be situated right at the doorstep of Planica and the Tromeja (Triple Border). This way we attract hikers in the summertime, who can restore their strength with our famous fried chicken at our shaded terrace. In the winter our guests are mostly lovers of winter sports – aside from those who decide to try the Rateče carps – there are plenty who spend several days with us. We also like to draw from the natural beauties of Pokljuka ourselves – especially in mushroom season when you can try various mushroom dishes on the menu.
